My Experience
My Journey Through Coding
I got an early start with my education in programming in 2012. I went to a magnet high school "Carver Center for Arts and Technology" where I specialized in Information in Technology as my prime. I took several programming classes every year which covered a variety of areas. Unlike most high school programming classes, they were more in depth, more intense, and was taught by a teacher with a PhD. My first course utilized the .Net framework and was written in Visual Basic. My next two courses involved web development and some C based languages. My web development course taught HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and involved the creation of web sites and web applications in different styles. My other class taught mainly C++ and C#. I learned using command line applications, the .Net framework, Unity, XNA, and robotics. Next, I took and AP computer science course in Java which allowed me to skip past my first Computer Science course in college since I got the highest score possible on the AP exam. I produced many different projects at the time including websites, games, and a procedural terrain generator. This was all before I went to college.
I went to University of Maryland Baltimore County and received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2020 along with a minor in physics. I have since learned about data structures, computer architecture, operating systems, databases, computer graphics, game development, software engineering, cyber security, and much more. I didn't take the easy route through my education and prioritized learning over the simplest route to getting my degree. I took more difficult classes from more experienced professors and am proud of the knowledge I acquired. I have since worked on so many different things that I know am self driven to learn different systems through documentation and experimentation. I am capable of becoming skilled in new systems rather quickly since I have done just that so many times before.
During this time I am working on personal projects while job searching and even learning some new systems. I enjoy programming and am a good fit for whatever service you need.
